Baptist Women's Ministry

The aim of the Women’s Ministry in WA is two-fold. Firstly, to come alongside, encourage and strengthen local churches and leaders. Secondly, it is to build a sense of networking and unity amongst women all over WA.

This has involved a multi-tiered approach:

1. Building a dynamic Women’s Ministry Leadership team.
2. Regular contact with ministry leaders and individual women through the form of a fortnightly e-newsletter.
3. Visiting different ministries and speaking at events.
4. Opportunity to work one-on-one with leaders dealing with specific issues.
5. An annual pastor’s and spouses retreat.
6. An annual Retreat and Renewal for Women.

What I see:

“We are in a time where God is pouring new blessing over us. It is a time for ridding ourselves of the ‘old’ and renewing our hearts and minds. Wrong thinking, will be renewed. Hearts that have been cold will have life added to them. Those that have been oppressed will be set free. Those who have walked under bondage will experience the first joys of freedom.

There is new strength. New power.  New dreams. A new and fresh presence of God.

'And no one pours new wine into old wineskins.  If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined.  No, he pours new wine into new wineskins.'   Mark 2:22

This is a season where the world needs to see hearts fully set on God our Saviour. It is not for the faint hearted. There is sacrifice that is needed and He is calling for women who will be set apart for Him. We are to wake up, arise, walk, run, that which God has promised those who have faithfully gone before us, to those who yet don’t truly know Him. We have a foundation of generations of faith and faithfulness from which God will now birth new promises. His word will be taken from the shelf. His Son will be lifted up. His Spirit will be free to move.

It is a new day. A new time. New promises and a new journey!”
